would remove the majority of the important consumer protections set forth in the Collateral Recovery Act [Act] by eliminating the

May 1st 2017 The Bureau is currently recruiting for a workshop on: May 9-10, 2017
The Bureau of Security and Investigative Services is recruiting Qualified Managers to participate in Subject Matter Expert workshops! Participants are paid a $200.00 per Diem for each day of the workshop.
As an expert, you will have the opportunity to contribute to your profession and work with other licensed Repossession Agency Qualified Managers from around the state of California. Your knowledge and experience as a qualified manager is essential for the success of this process.

February 15th 2017 Personal Effects Inventory Waiver Receipt Booklet
CALR has created a 2 part receipt booklet that the debtors can sign in the field, stating they have received all of their personal effects at the time of repossession. Anything left in the vehicle will not have to be stored for 60 days. To inquire about obtaining the Personal Effects Inventory Waiver receipt books please contact CALR.
December 1st 2016 2017 Repossession Laws, Rules & Regulations booklet
The 2017 booklets are now available from CALR! This is a must have for all agents in the field and your office staff. The booklets have all the current laws regarding repossession in the state of California. If you get a hot stop this booklet should be given to law enforcement officers to help educate and keep them up on the current laws. Contact CALR to inquire about obtaining the booklets.
